1st thing in my mind when i bought my car home (previously my brother's car), i want to change the color. State in grant it was in SILVER Color and by Proton's color code it was called 'Aquatic Blue'. The original one looks nice for me when new. But i decide to give the car a new life and fresh look. By the way, the car did slave herself for 8 years and clock more than 250,000km. Affect from the sunburn, of coz la, harm her body a little. But the engine still running well due to excellent service interval history. For suspension issue, only went to kakimotor and plug in the Ultra Racing front strut bar.

Other problem? only the famous among proton cars, power window. Luckily now in the market available new type of power window made by aluminium. To counter the cheapo plastic type. But still burn my wallet for RM180 per piece.

Next i'm dreaming of wat kind of color i wanna change, maybe diamond black, alpine white or ferrari red. Pening already.

After made some searching, in blog, car domain webpage, on the road, finally i got my ultimate decision.

Before i send my car to the spray shop i decide to make some interior color change, i wanna make it black. Just found some new cool product name Otter Fibre Color.



Does well for leather and pvc sheet but poor for plactic material. The color not bonding at all and easily scratch out. Currently interior job not properly finish. KIV.


But i have to dismantle some of the interior unit. Check it out! After the jump

















Then i put all the dismantled parts in my house and get ready to send my car.



Here they are. I choose Dupont Paint to protect my car. But the old body color have to sand out first.

All done and the color soo beautiful. There are some reddish pearl effect sheen on every curve. For your information i choosed the color code from mazda color line. Its called Galaxy Grey (32S). B4 this i decided to go for honda galaxy grey, but the pearl effect is greeny and the grey color looks more to brown not grey. I wanted the grey color.

But after one Mazda 3 (white color) over take me on highway, i'm thinking that it's better if i choose the color from mazda line up. And i fall in love.

Olympus Malaysia to showcase E-620 at DCIM 2009

Filling another hole in its dSLR product line, Olympus takes on the Canon EOS Rebel XSi and Sony Alpha DSLR-A350 with the new E-620 (Nikon's D80 and D90 are cheaper and more expensive than these models, respectively.)

The Olympus E-620 is the world’s smallest and lightest creative DSLR camera with built-in image stabilisation. The 12 megapixel Olympus E620 features a custom 7-point Twin autofocus system, 2.7 inch free-angle LCD screen, Live View, 4fps continuous shooting and Supersonic Wave Filter dust protection. The E-620 also offers the same Art Filters, Multi Exposure mode and five different aspect ratios as the more expensive E-30 model. The Olympus E-620 will be available at the end of April 2009. Panasonic Malaysia unveils new Lumix cameras

Panasonic’s 10.1MP DMC-FS7 and 8.1MP DMC-FS6 cameras come with f/2.8 Leica DC lens with 4x optical zoom (equivalent to 33mm to 132 mm on a 35mm film camera) as a member of Lumix FS series. The FS series, a sister line of the world-acclaimed FX series, pursues easy and simple operation with its high-grade profile for users at every stage to enjoy taking beautiful pictures.

The iA(Intelligent Auto) mode incorporated in the DMC-FS7 and FS6 comprises of four major functions, Mega O.I.S., Intelligent ISO Control, Intelligent Scene Selector and Face Detection. Mega O.I.S. suppresses hand-shake and Intelligent ISO Control prevents motion blur. Confirm Satria Neo S2000 enters the IRC 2009

According to PT.org, the Proton Satria Neo Super 2000 rally car will be entering the Intercontinental Rally Challenge full-time after its first competition debut late last year. Proton will be the 7th manufacturer in the IRC series, joining the likes of Abarth, Honda, Mitsubishi, Peugeot, Skoda and Volkswagen.

“We are absolutely delighted to welcome Proton into the IRC family. The new Satria Neo S2000 has already attracted a lot of praise in its short career to date. I have no doubt that Proton will quickly find success with competitive rally customers on IRC events, as well as on national and regional championships that are based on S2000 technical regulations,” said IRC GM Marcello Lotti.

“The IRC provides the ideal format for manufacturers to showcase their products around the world. We are very excited to register for the IRC this year, alongside many of the leading manufacturers in motorsport. Although we are still developing the Proton, the IRC will provide the perfect opportunity to gauge the competitiveness of the car, and ultimately to take the project forward,” said Proton’s MD Datuk Syed Zainal.



The Satria Neo S2000 made its first rally debut piloted by Bryan Bouffier and co-driver Xavier Panseri in the Rallye Antibes Cote d’Azur leg of the 2008 European Rally Championship in the South of France. In full rally trim, the hatch has the smallest front and the lowest roof height (heh I am not surprised really) of any homologated S2000 car. It’s 2.0 liter engine is derived from Renault’s 1.8 liter unit from the Waja 1.8X and puts out 278 horsepower at 7,600rpm.
The Neo is no doubt one of the most “visible” Proton cars internationally, at least in terms of how much appearances it makes here and there. The Neo is even used in Top Gear Australia as the car used in the "Star in a Bog Standard Car" segment.

GrandCentral Grows Up - Now Google Voice!

As a surprise to many, Google has finally taken tthe popular and useful Grand Central service and done something with it.





To those unaware, GrandCentral was a service that provides “One number for life”. That is, you are given a new phone number and can use it to ring all your phone numbers including your mobile, home line, work phone, and any other normal phone number. As another feature, you get centralized voicemail…since all your calls go to one number, you have a centralized box for all your various messages. No more keeping a voicemail box at work, home, and on your cell.
All this is well and good, but GrandCentral has been around for years now with no improvements or additions. This ended today as Google has launched Google Voice. What is new? Many things including:
SMS forwarding: This was my chief complaint about the old GrandCentral - no way to have SMS messages get forwarded to your mobile. Now, Google Voice will do this.
Voicemail transcription: Your voicemails will now be transcribed to the best of the voice recognition software’s ability. This of course, is so Google can sell you ads inside Google Voice, much like what they do with Gmail now.
Integration with Google Mail contacts.
Phone scheduling: you can have Google ring your work phone between business hours and your mobile after hours based on a schedule you set.
Conference calling: Google Voice will let you conference with up to 6 people and will record the call as well. US callers are free and International callers are per minute with very cheap rates.
I think the new service is a fabulous next step for GrandCentral. Google Voice will now become my all encompassing now that they do SMS forwarding. Having all my communications in one place is invaluable.
