The iA(Intelligent Auto) mode incorporated in the DMC-FS7 and FS6 comprises of four major functions, Mega O.I.S., Intelligent ISO Control, Intelligent Scene Selector and Face Detection. The DMC-FS15 has a 2.7-inch LCD with 230,000-dot high resolution and Intelligent LCD function, which detects the lighting condition and controls the brightness level of the LCD in 11 fine steps, to offer a display with the most appropriate clarity in any situation. Other various upgrades make FS15 enhance the fun of taking pictures. The startup time is dramatically shortened to 1.2 sec, letting you to capture the spur-of-the-moment.
The 12.1MP DMC-FS25 has a 29mm wide angle Leica DC lens with 5x optical zoom (equivalent to 29mm to 145 mm on a 35mm film camera) with 3.0-inch large LCD as a member of Lumix new FS series. The Lumix DMC-FT1 features a new 28mm wide-angle, 4.6x optical zoom Leica DC Vario Elmar lens with 12.1MP resolution. Starting at the 28mm wide angle, and zooming up to a useful 128mm in telephoto, this camera gives you the flexibility for virtually all shooting scenes – especially underwater, where movement is often restricted and the angle of view becomes important for composing your shots. HD motion-image recording is available in AVCHD Lite allowing longer video recordings with breathtaking HD visual and audio quality, making it a true hybrid — a single model that performs admirably as both camera and camcorder while achieving smooth, easy operation in both modes.
The DMC-FX550 features a 25mm ultra-wide angle Leica DC lens with 5x optical zoom while increasing the recording image size from 10.1-megapixel to 12.1-megapixel. Popular touch-screen operation on a large, 3.0-inch LCD brings great enjoyment to the digital photography and enables easy manual operation. It now offers a Face Recognition feature, an advanced Face Recognition function that recognizes individual faces, making it a kind of personal verification system in a camera. The user can give auto focus and auto exposure priority to a single person in a group of people, ensuring that a loved one’s face will be captured beautifully. Also, the AF tracking lets the camera keep the subject in focus and well-exposed even if it moves around.
The TZ7 is a powerhouse performer with enormous versatility. It features a new LEICA DC VARIO-ELMAR lens with 10.1-megapixel resolution. Compared with previous models, it extends the power of the optical zoom from 10x to 12x and expands the wide-angle lens from 28mm to an ultra-wide 25mm while reducing both size and weight of the body, giving it the range for virtually all shooting situations. The DMC-TZ7 is the world’s first digital camera that records motion image in AVCHD Lite. The AVCHD Lite realizes long time recording of high-definition motion image.
